Three years ago Pivot unveiled their original 115mm trail and XC race machine, the Mach 4. A forward thinking bike for the time, it was the first di2 compatible mountain bike frame, with integrated internal wiring from the factory. This year’s model continues in the same mission, with largely the same geometry, but with small adjustments to the front triangle, a new rear triangle, boost, more heel clearance, and room for up to a 2.6-inch tire. We were able to meet up with the Pivot crew at the Park City press camp to see the new bike in person, and get out on the trails for a first ride impression.
